Abel brought his first and best while it is not mentioned whether Cain brought his first and best; it may have been leftovers or an inferior offering. Nevertheless, Cain killed his brother Abel because he was jealous. He then pretended that he did not know where Abel was and shot back, "Am I my brother's keeper?"
